Project Overview


KILLINGLY ENERGY CENTER

NTE Energy is developing and plans to construct, own and operate the Killingly Energy Center, a 550 MW natural gas-fired electric generating facility in Killingly, Connecticut, which will be a source of clean and efficient electric capacity and energy for many communities and utilities in the region.

Once complete, the Killingly Energy Center will be capable of powering approximately 500,000 homes and represent an investment of over $500 million, providing numerous benefits to the local community and its economy.

Interconnection Request: 1Q16

Air Permit Application: 2Q16

Siting Council Application: 2Q16

Obtain Permits: 1Q17

Start Construction: 2/3Q17

Commercial Operation: 2020
